People often start looking for a “basic” PC video editing, since only want to “edit the odd home videos” We do not understand the reasoning. If you use your car only for the odd trip to the grocery store Why buy a whole car? Why not just buy a wheel?

If you are looking to make a video editing as a full time work, or are looking to edit the movie occasionally home to the children who still need to have all the right equipment. A professional video editor can pay a little more than a faster processor or more heavy duty editing video card, but otherwise the conditions are more or less the same. Video is the most demanding of all applications and even more demanding than recent games. If you do not have the right, even the PC once in a blue moon editing can be very heavy, very restrictive, and not something that you enjoy at all. You could end up applying a command and waiting 30 minutes to see what the results look. It will be uncomfortable and annoying.

Some of the things that a “basic” PC video editing, it probably won’t offers are listed below:

On the basis of 24 frames per second – Be Prepared – the PC has to apply the effect to 10,000,000 pixels per second video clip!

But what we really need a professional video editing software suite? They are too complex.

Well, then do not use. But what I think. Expensive video editing software comes free with good video editing cards. Do not use if it is not necessary, but I’ll keep everything. A day will come when you feel constrained by offering their existing software or having to do a job that requires substantial discount anything, and like to have something like Adobe Premiere around.

If you are new to editing so anyway – for the love of goodness – to start with something like Final Cut Pro or Premiere. Not be under the illusion that it is a steep learning curve. NO! It is a steep learning curve only if you want to become an expert in the program. If all we wanted is to capture clips, cut and paste, and export the finished product should take about the same time to learn to do it in Premiere, it would meet in some cheap produce X-Free – Studio Bundled – Newbie restricted software suite. And – if you are familiar with the basics in Premier/Editing/Final Cut then you have to learn new tricks that you will not have to start from scratch with a new program. You have no spending to buy the software or the stress of scrapping all he knows about the change of starting over with a package that does not know. You can instead just explore other program features that you feel comfortable with.

So how does an entry level video editing PC differ from a professional one?

A professional system is likely that some or all of the following additional features

Adobe spent two and a half years to rewrite the popular and Adobe Premier. The latest version of Adobe Premiere 6.5, Adobe Premiere Pro effectively is version 7.0 of this package widely used. Some might argue that Premiere is not really a “professional” video editing package, but aimed more at the Prosumer market. Adobe has been trying to dispel that idea and runs the product in the type of professional who normally use Final Cut Pro.

Unlike previous versions of Premiere, Adobe Premiere Pro does not have the food YUV DV and make it to work in RGB and then converted into YUV for export to tape. Windows Movie Maker 2: Best Video Editing Software for Beginners

One of the major improvements over Movie Maker v01 is the ability to add transitions, titles and effects to your videos. The choice is very limited (but you can always just a shell of the Microsoft Plus Pack, which provides another 50 or so effects).

Microsoft Movie Maker is the best starting point has always been its price. It’s second best point is simplicity. And that was all I could say about Windows Movie Maker. That has changed. The new version is still simple, clutter free and easy to navigate and still has an ease of use that is unmatched among other video editors, but now comes with a pair of features and controls that you’ll find you can not live without.

After capture your clips to tell the program the level of quality you need, not the definition of frames per second, resolution, bit rate or any other technical information, only the simple choice between “secular” options offered by the schedule. Once you have the clip in the timeline you’ll see that now has more zoom buttons, adjusting audio levels, recording, etc none of whom comment on the previous version of the program.

There is also an assistant (now, why is that a surprise? ) Be responsible for your videos, add transitions/titles and the output of “edited” video default to a style (eg music video/action sports). You can still move between stories and the windows of time, still have points of view thumbnails of the clips (even the previous version worked very convenient for you at the time of capture), and the ability to save the file in WMV format.

Our advice is that you should never underestimate how far that will go with the editing. If you start the editor base because you are a master of simplicity in a few minutes and itching to work on something with a little more thrust. That can be a very frustrating experience. Never hurts to have some power / features / facilities / waiting in reserve for when you want to explore. Windows Movie Maker does not have that.
